B3 Biennial of the Moving Image

The aim of the festival, which was initially launched in 2013, is to create a broad-based alliance on behalf of the moving image. Operating across disciplines and genres the Biennial offers an international platform for discourse and networking among the makers of films and TV shows, artists, designers, scientists, technology providers, industry participants and up-and-coming talents. The festival's debut in 2013 welcomed 25,000 enthusiastic visitors from 12 countries. At 25 locations in the Rhine-Main region B3 brought together 200 artists, filmmakers, designers, Internet specialists, games developers and scientists in a dialogue about the future of storytelling in the digital age. The B3 Biennial takes place every two years.
